Albanian Fiber Backbone is the First Fiber
Backbone Carrier in Albania. It is building and operating
the Albania’s first national IP-based datacentric
network, an end-to-end fiber optic platform for data,
voice, video and Internet services.
AFB is a “dark” fiber metropolitan infrastructure
provider, dedicated to enabling aggressive companies to
profit from the burgeoning communications market without
waiting years to do it. We design, build, lease and maintain
high-capacity, high-bandwidth dark fiber-optic networks,
constructed on full-spectrum fiber and completely connected
to a city’s most important points of communications
presence.
Albanian Fiber Backbone became operative in Tirana, Durres
and Shkoder on September 2003, and other cities of Albania
starting on December 2003, by so being able to supply
customers with services and capacity in a very short period
of time to meet today’s explosive growth in bandwidth
, speed and security demand.
Our sophisticated network, with built-in redundancy for
total reliability, provides maximum high-capacity service
coverage in high-density business districts. You can lease
exactly the capacity you need on a strand-by-strand basis
at a fixed price. What’s more, we will never compete
